Request for Proposals/Pre-Application Conference

The Real Estate Charitable Foundation of Maryland, Inc., a 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation (the “Administrator”), a supporting organization of the Community Foundation of Howard County, also a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit corporation, announces that it is soliciting competitive applications from eligible mortgage lending institutions to participate in a neighborhood revitalization loan program, REvitalizing Neighborhoods Everywhere in Howard County (“RENEW Howard”).  A copy of the RFP with Proposed Parameters for First Mortgage Loan for RENEW Howard (Exhibit 1) and RENEW Howard Master Participation Agreement (Exhibit 2) are listed in the links below:

If you plan on attending the Pre-Application Conference, please e-mail an RSVP to lphillips@howardcountymd.gov no later than 5:00 PM on September 12, 2018.  All applications must be received by the Administrator by October 15, 2018, 4:00 p.m. EDT.

 

The Real Estate Charitable Foundation of Maryland, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) supporting organization of the Community Foundation of Howard County, Inc., and was selected by the Department of Housing for Howard County, to hold and invest the $2 million guarantee fund and to promote and administer the RENEW Program for so long as funds under the program are available.
